Built for the now-or-never brain.
ADHD brains live in two time zones: Now and Not Now. There's no "later" — only "right this second" or "might as well be never."
Traditional to-do lists try to impose fake deadlines and priority levels. Your brain ignores them because it knows the truth: if it's not urgent right now, it doesn't exist.
The Now/Not-Now Sorter embraces this reality. You don't rank tasks 1-10 or assign due dates you'll ignore. You just ask: "Does this need to happen NOW?" If yes, it goes in the Now column. If no, it goes in Not Now. Simple. Honest. ADHD-friendly.
Why only two categories?
Because ADHD brains can't reliably process five-tier priority systems. Two choices — Now or Not Now — match how ADHD time perception actually works. There's no middle ground that won't get ignored.
What happens to the Not Now items?
They wait without guilt. A weekly review prompt helps you decide whether to elevate them to Now, move them to a future date, or delete them entirely. Nothing disappears — it just gets out of today's way.
